I don’t know of anything so deeply moving as to be here, now, in front of the TV, at 5:46 in the afternoon on July 26, 2016, watching the roll call of states as the assembled delegates from the Democratic Party in the United States cast their votes, one state after another, in Philadelphia, for the nominees. At this moment, Georgia is voting 29 votes for Bernie Sanders and 87 votes for the next President of the United States, Hillary Clinton. We are watching the transformation of the United States.

We can all say, now, I was there watching when it happened.
